The owners are very friendly and welcoming. We felt more like guests than customers. Their generosity, flexibility, and hospitality were a blessing. The breakfast is wonderful and the accommodations are luxurious. The price point makes it easy to add more nights once your realize how much you enjoy it. We have every intention of coming back. The location is nestled in between many small towns with antique shopping, historical markers, and outdoor activities. Be sure to visit "The Big Mo" drive-in theater in Monetta with double feature movies and check out the New Moon Cafe in Aiken.

We only found the Gables Inn because we were looking for a small town where we could view the total eclipse. The Gables Inn and Gardens was an incredible find. It is a fantastic B&B. Wonderful rooms in a historic home, breakfast was delicious, owners are friendly and very helpful. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
Came down to see the 2017 eclipse with my family, and had a lovely time. The hosts were very friendly and eager to help with anything, the house was gorgeous, though a little confusing in its layout, and the breakfast was excellent, with many choices, including a vegetarian option. They even had complementary eclipse glasses available for us. I had a very positive experience and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.
Wonderful place for weddings parties. Great greenery and luscious scenery. They also have rooms for overnight stay.
